Overtime tracking
The beta is evaluating automatic overtime calculations against configured working hours. Employers must validate settings and results against the applicable award or agreement.
Absence resolution
Unaccounted absences are flagged automatically. Resolve as LWOP (full or half day), excused absence, or apply retroactive leave — with full audit trail.
Optional geolocation under evaluation
The web beta can evaluate location capture at check-in when explicitly enabled. Participating employers remain responsible for notice, consent, privacy, and workplace-law obligations.

03What attendance records does the Australian beta evaluate?
The beta is evaluating daily check-in and check-out records alongside configured working hours, leave, and absence information.
These records are not a statutory-compliance guarantee. Participating employers remain responsible for checking completeness, retention, awards, agreements, privacy, and Fair Work obligations.
04What happens when an employee forgets to check in?
Employees who have not checked in are flagged on the daily attendance view. The end-of-day absence detection job marks them as absent automatically.
Managers can resolve the absence as LWOP, excused, or apply retroactive leave. Employees can also submit a retroactive check-in request for manager approval.
05Can I export attendance data for payroll?
Yes. Attendance data can be exported as CSV from the monthly attendance view. The export includes check-in/out times, worked hours, overtime, and absence records — ready to import into your payroll system.
06Does it support half-day attendance?
Yes. If an employee is on half-day leave, they can check in for the other half of the day. The system automatically detects the half-day leave and adjusts the attendance record accordingly.
