Slack is live and can be installed from the Slack App Directory. Microsoft Teams is a limited, invite-only pilot with no public install; request details from our Teams page.
Email notifications and CSV export are available out of the box with every account.
02Do I need to install anything?
For Slack, just click 'Add to Slack' and authorise the app. It takes less than 2 minutes. No server setup, no IT department needed.
For Teams, do not install anything yet. We first confirm whether your organisation is eligible and explain the current pilot scope and permissions.
03Can I use Leave Balance without Slack or Teams?
Absolutely. Leave Balance works as a standalone web app with email notifications. Slack and Teams are optional enhancements — the core product works independently.
04Will more integrations be added?
Yes. Google Calendar, Outlook Calendar, Zapier, and Xero are on the roadmap. We prioritise integrations based on customer demand — if you need something specific, let us know.
05Is there an API?
Yes. REST API v2 is live on every plan, covering employees, leave requests and approvals, leave types, holidays, expenses, attendance, shift assignments, bank accounts, and payroll inputs, with outbound webhooks and self-serve API keys from your account settings.
