How this tool works
For each official holiday, the optimizer tests nearby date ranges, treats Saturdays, Sundays, and listed public holidays as non-leave days, then uses a budgeted interval optimizer to choose a non-overlapping annual plan that maximises total days off within your allowance. It assumes a Monday-to-Friday schedule.

Which year does the optimizer cover?
The recommendations use verified 2027 holiday dates for each specifically labelled jurisdiction.
Does this account for my working pattern?
The current version assumes a Monday-to-Friday working week. Shift and weekend workers should adjust the suggested dates to their roster.
Are all Australian state holidays included?
All eight state and territory calendars are selectable. The scope note identifies omitted local and partial-day holidays.
Does a bank holiday have to be paid leave?
Rules vary. For example, UK bank holidays can be included within statutory leave. Check your contract and the linked official source.
