The beta is evaluating digital attendance records alongside leave data. Your organisation remains responsible for Labour Act, privacy, payroll, and record-keeping compliance.
Overtime tracking
The beta is evaluating overtime calculations against configured working hours and caps. Employers must validate settings and results against current contracts, policies, and Nepal law.
Absence resolution
Unaccounted absences are detected automatically. Resolve as LWOP for payroll deductions, excused absence, or apply retroactive leave — with full audit trail.
CSV export for payroll
Export monthly attendance data as CSV — check-in/out times, worked hours, overtime, and absence records. Ready to import into payroll systems for LOP and overtime calculations.

The beta is evaluating searchable daily check-in and check-out records alongside configured working hours, leave, and absence information.
It does not promise Labour Act compliance or replace employer review. Participating employers remain responsible for legal requirements, record completeness, retention, payroll, and privacy.
02How is overtime evaluated in the Nepal beta?
Candidate workflows calculate overtime when recorded hours exceed the configured daily total and may apply a configurable weekly cap.
The beta does not interpret the Labour Act, contracts, or payroll rules. Employers must validate configurations and exported data before using them for pay or compliance decisions.
03Can I export attendance data for payroll?
Yes. Monthly attendance data can be exported as CSV including check-in/out times, total worked hours, overtime hours, and absence records.
This data supports Loss of Pay (LOP) deduction calculations and overtime pay processing in your payroll system.
04What happens when an employee does not check in?
Employees who have not checked in are visible on the daily attendance view as 'Not Checked In'. The end-of-day absence detection job automatically marks them as absent.
Administrators can resolve the absence as LWOP (full or half day), excused, or apply retroactive leave. The resolution is logged with an audit trail.
05Is attendance tracking included in the $10 Leave plan?
No. The $10 Leave plan covers leave management for unlimited employees. Attendance, shift, and roster workflows belong to the separate, invite-only Workforce web beta.
Workforce has no public price or checkout. Applying for the beta does not start a trial or select a subscription.
06Does Leave Balance support Bikram Sambat calendar for attendance?
Leave Balance supports the Bikram Sambat (BS) calendar for date display and the Nepali fiscal year (Shrawan to Ashad). Attendance records are maintained with both BS and Gregorian dates.
