The best Microsoft Teams leave tool is the one that supports your required workflow, protects tenant data, and accurately describes what is available today. “Teams integration” can mean anything from a channel notification to a complete interactive application, so compare evidence rather than labels.
Compare workflow depth
Ask each vendor which of these actions work now and where they happen:

Verify release maturity
A public Teams Store listing, a private organisation-catalog package, and an invite-only pilot are different offers. Confirm:
- how the app is installed;
- whether Microsoft or your own administrator has reviewed it;
- which tenants and channel types are supported;
- whether a published service level or support process applies; and
- what happens when the integration is revoked or removed.
Avoid choosing a product from a promised release date. Evaluate what can be installed and tested now.
Review security and operations
A credible provider should be able to describe tenant isolation, user matching, Microsoft activity authentication, encrypted credential storage, token rotation, duplicate handling, least-privilege permissions, and redacted logging. It should also keep the leave platform as the authoritative record.
Compare total fit
Teams is only one part of the decision. Compare leave-policy configuration, approval routing, reporting, exports, audit history, support, data residency, pricing, and the experience for people who do not use Teams.
